A Roadmap for Transitional Justice in Syria – September 2025
On May 17, President Al-Sharaa announced the creation of two new, independent commissions, one focused on transitional justice (though only for crimes committed by the Assad government) and one focused specifically on establishing the fates and whereabouts of missing persons.
