The COI interviewed 45 survivors, religious leaders, smugglers, activists, lawyers, medical personnel, and journalists in order to inform this report on crimes committed by ISIS in Syria against the Yazidi. The COI concludes that ISIS is responsible for the crime of genocide as well as multiple crimes against humanity and war crimes.
