Inside the Raslan Trial: Plaintiffs under Scrutiny

SJAC’s 30th trial monitoring report details day 65 of the trial of Anwar Raslan in Koblenz, Germany. The plaintiff, who formerly worked for a Syrian government agency, testified about his detention and multiple interrogations he had to endure in Al-Khatib Branch. He further told the court about the devastating hygienic, medical, and nutritional conditions at the Branch. The defense was particularly interested in the plaintiff’s connection with Anwar Al-Bunni and how the witness joined the case against Raslan as a plaintiff.
