United States Institute of Peace - Syrians Still Hoping for Justice and Accountability for Abuses

On January 29, the United States Institute for Peace held a meeting to present “‘He who did wrong should be accountable’: Syrian Perspectives on Transitional Justice“, a new report from the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre (SJAC) co-authored by Charney Research examining Syrian perspectives on transitional justice. Speaking on a panel was SJAC Executive Director Mohammad Al Abdallah, Charney Research President Craig Charney, Balkees Jarrah, Counsel for the International Justice Program at Human Rights Watch, Washington Institute for Near East Policy Senior Fellow Andrew Tabler, and Global Policy Associates Managing Director Firas Maksad.
