World Organization Against Torture - Syrian Arab Republic: Abducted Activists’ Whereabouts Remain Unknown

In an open letter to armed groups around Douma in Syria and the governments that support them, the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre and 55 other human rights organizations call for the release of human rights defenders Razan Zaitouneh, Samira Al-Khalil, Wa’el Hamada, and Nazim Hammadi of the Violations Documentation Center (VDC). It has been three years since the activists were abducted by a group of armed men who stormed the VDC office in Douma. Read the entire letter here.
