Anadolu Agency - New Syria torture photos another chapter in abuse

Andalou Agency reports on new photos depicting torture of Syrian opposition members and the latest veto of a resolution by China and Russia that would have referred the Syria crisis to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for investigation of possible war crimes.

Syria Justice and Accountability Centre (SJAC) Executive Director Mohammad Al Abdallah explains that the international community has yet to take concrete action towards bringing perpetrators of atrocities in Syria to account for their crimes. “You get some condemnation statements here and there, but it’s not actions. Nobody is taking any serious actions,” says Al Abdallah.
