Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia

This website contains information on the ECCC, which was created by the Cambodian government and the UN to try serious crimes committed during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975-1979. However, it is an independent Cambodian court with international participation that will apply international standards, thus providing a new role model for court operations in Cambodia.
